Alone and powerless, 18-year-old Rion Grean now finds himself behind enemy lines. Everything he thought he knew about himself, his missing mother, and the other Clairvoyants is about to come into question. Nothing... not even new allies and new gifts... will be enough to prepare him for the impending threat.
The future has shifted. The Clairvoyants have been exposed and the world is watching. Felix Bard and the ruthless figureheads of PSYRIIN are finally preparing to emerge from the shadows with their most dangerous weapons yet.
Dark revelations will test loyalties. Sacrifices will be made. As the feverish war reaches its end... what will Rion and the Clairvoyants be willing to sacrifice for freedom?

I have loved this series from the beginning. The first two books really set the scene ready for the final battle in this end instalment. I would like to say this could be read standalone as there are some references to previous books however It really does need to be read as an entire series to get the full benefit and to follow Rions journey from stroppy sullen teenager to strong, feisty combat ready fighter in the third book!
The journey they all go on in the stories is brilliant, they learn so much about themselves and each other and I love the 'found family' trope that runs through. You will always have a biological family, but you're found family is something else entirely and sometimes, as in this case, has an entirely different unbreakable bond.
The story is action packed, suspenseful and gripping. I was constantly waiting for the next shoe to drop and hidden secrets fire out at a fantastic pace. It was great to have a lot of the questions from the first two books answered.
The characters were great, our constant favourites were all there, I love the bond between Rion and Aries. His growing friendship with Lupus was a lovely touch. We bump back into Dee which was great as I loved her character in the first book. Dr Johannes is brilliant, I really enjoyed his character as well as the descriptions of his appearance. As always Felix Bard is a great bad Guy and we love to hate him!
As much as I loved this book I did have one issue, in that the overuse of the words smirk, leer and snarl. I understand they are teens but they smirked the whole way through the book and a lot of the time it didn't feel right as a description to me. It just began to irk me as the books went on. But I moved past it and accepted that this was the authors choice.
Overall the series was great, it was fast paced, exciting, there were lots of interesting powers and Rion had a few really exciting discovery's in this last book which explained a lot. I think it was ended well with a satisfying conclusion and although I was sad to say goodbye to the characters I feel they had completed their journeys and it was the right time to set them free. Thanks Brady for these books I have thoroughly enjoyed them.
