This was such an adorable children's book. The rhyming was just beautiful and as I read it to my son it honestly warmed my heart. It absolutely hits the nail on the head, describing a parents love for a child and the ways in which things become better now that they are a part of our lives. I loved sharing it with my son, I totally agreed with the sentiment and it made me give him an extra tight squeeze before bed!
The illustrations are gorgeous and all the different animals kept his attention, he loved to discuss which animal was up next and why they were so happy. I loved the rhyming text and the way it presented such an important message. I think this is a great book for any parent of young children to bring into their library, it helps to explain a hugely important emotion and does it well.
Thank you for allowing me to read such a heartwarming story. I will treasure it and hopefully someday my son will read it to his children!
