Summer Netgalley Challenge

Updated: Jan 9, 2023

So this summer I decided to take part in The Summer Netgalley Challenge hosted by Bookstacks & Golden Moms. This challenge was a great way to work my way through some of my Netgalley shelf and improve my ratio a little!

I would like to share with you the books I completed during this challenge, I had aimed to reach the Sunglasses level of 6-10 books. Lets see if I managed to reach that!!

Read on to find out which books I read and reviewed, click on the links to read my full reviews!

Grown Ups by Marie Aubert - reviewed on July 8th

I read this as part of a blog tour, it was a Norwegian book translated into English. A family drama centred around Ida, the main character who portrayed a lot of sadness in the way her life had panned out. It was an interesting look at family dynamics and loneliness. You can read my review here.

Seven days in June by Tia Williams - reviewed on July 16th

This was a fabulous story, super HOT and lovely humorous moments around the intense emotions. The cast of characters were great and the whole novel kept me hooked until the end, ou can read my full review here.

Lying with Lions by Annabel Fielding - reviewed on 1st August

This was a fabulous historical fiction novel, it was gothic, full of historical information and a dark family saga which kept me hooked. You can read my review for the blog tour here.

Unfortunately that was the last of the Netgalley books read this month, I had so many other book tours and author requests that I just haven't had time to make much of a dent in my Netgalley shelf. Fingers crossed I can tick some more off in the coming months as I would love to get my ratio higher than 56%
