Good morning my lovely blogging family! How are we all on this fine Sunday morning? I just wanted to pop on and say "It's my Birthday!" It's bexbooksandstuff's 2nd birthday and I can't believe I am still writing away for you all!
Thank you so much for sticking around to hear my thoughts on books and other things! As most of you will know my blog is slowly beginning to change and develop into different branches. As well as book reviews and other bookish related matter I have also started to bring my thoughts on self care and wellness. This will be continuing as I move forward into my third year expanding this blog!
I will still be sharing book related content, book tours, reviews, spotlights and recommendations. I hope to bring you more content over the next year so look forward to that! Are there any books I absolutely have to read? Let me know in the comments! I am not actively taking author requests due to a backlog of current books to read, however I still welcome contact from any budding authors, I would love to hear from you. Have a look at my About Me section which will tell you whether your book is in my preferred genres. I hope to be able to accept author submissions later next year so watch this space!
I will be reviewing self care practices and wellness ideas for you all. If there is anything you would like to see me discuss or try out in the future just let me know. I love to hear from my readers. I hope that this side of my blog will begin to thrive as self care is such an important part of my life.
I hope to write more fiction pieces over the next year, I want to start branching out into writing and submitting short stories etc, so you may well see some of my work popping up on the blog now and again! For those who may not have seen on my socials, I was shortlisted and made the cut for an upcoming anthology by Keeping It Under Wraps. The anthology is called Bodies Uncensored and my piece is all about body image. It is a personal essay and I am so proud that my first ever submission made the cut! Keep an eye out for more information about the publishing of this book soon! In the meantime you can read my review of the previous anthologies published here.
