This was an absolutely amazing book! With the third instalment of this trilogy being released on August 5th I obviously had to read this book ready to purchase the new one! You can read my review of it here.

If you haven't read any of these books yet I highly recommend you do!! You can read my review of the first book in the series A good girls guide to murder here. I absolutely loved both of these books and cannot wait to read the third and final book!

𝔸𝕟𝕠𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣 𝕝𝕚𝕗𝕖 𝕓𝕪 𝕆𝕨𝕖𝕟 𝕎 𝕂𝕟𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥

This was such an interesting and complex book. It discussed so many different things, pagan tradition, religion and science as well as personal loss, disappointment in life and growth. It was so jam packed with detail and the writing was lyrically beautiful and haunting.

You can read my full review here.

WOW!! Honestly this book just blew me away! It was such a clever police detective crime thriller, set in 1980s Yorkshire. WPC Louise Millar is new to the police unit in the small town, she is not only trying to find her place as a detective, but as a FEMALE detective, in a time when women were expected to tend the home and apply themselves in the bedroom but nowhere else!

I highly recommend this and you can read my full (and totally gushing) review here.

This duopoly comprised of two books and they were both fantastic! I could not put the books down, they were so tense, gothic and full of eerie suspense. I highly recommend you read them both. Book 1 was Under Glass and Stone, Book 2 was Doors of Gold and Rust. You can get them separately or buy them together as a set, I highly recommend a binge read! You can read my review here.

𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔾𝕚𝕣𝕝 𝕠𝕗 𝕀𝕟𝕜 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕊𝕥𝕒𝕣𝕤 𝕓𝕪 𝕂𝕚𝕣𝕒𝕟 𝕄𝕚𝕝𝕝𝕨𝕠𝕠𝕕 ℍ𝕒𝕣𝕘𝕣𝕒𝕧𝕖

This was a fabulous YA story about myth, legend and adventure. A strong female protagonist and a fantastical story work well together to create a very enjoyable read! You can find me full review here.

This was an adorable children's book, a lovely adventure with a Christmas theme, and of course Santa made an appearance. You can read my instagram review here.

I absolutely loved this book, it made me so happy and I loved the premise with the love story linked with an old school version of dating apps, via the newspaper 'Missed Connections' pages. It was a really cute idea. You will see my full review soon on the blog, I have got a bit behind with my review writing. Too much fabulous reading to be done!

ᗩᔕ GOOᗪ ᗩᔕ ᗪEᗩᗪ ᗷY ᕼOᒪᒪY ᒍᗩᑕKᔕOᑎ

This was the final instalment in the AGGGTM trilogy and boy did it pack a punch! It has had very mixed reviews from fellow book bloggers but I ma happy to say I absolutely adored the end to the trilogy. I think it finished up Pips story perfectly and it was very dark and twisty. I love that it took Pip down some very dark and questionable paths, it was a great finale to an already amazing series of books. My review will follow shortly.

Well thanks to a lovely summer break I have managed to read this lot of corkers. Back to school now so Septembers reading list may not be quite as long. However I have some good ones on the TBR you can read all about them in my September hopefuls post.

Let me know in the comments what you think of the books above, have you read any? Or are you adding them to your TBR?
